Stop Your Dental Pain & Get Back Your Healthy Smile

At Dental Arts of Boston, our dental team has treated countless emergencies. From repairing broken or cracked teeth, addressing inflamed gum tissue, or restoring a knocked out tooth, there are very few situations we haven’t handled in our office.

Our priority the moment you arrive is to get you out of pain. Your dentist will perform an exam and may need to take digital X-rays to gather information about your situation. Then, they will determine the best course of treatment.

Depending on what is going on with your smile, your dentist may suggest:

  • Tooth Fillings – If you’re dealing with sudden and sharp pain in your tooth, it can be a result of a cavity. Your dentist will use tooth-colored fillings to repair decay and small cracks. The composite material will blend in with your other teeth.
  • Dental Crowns – A dental crown will restore a tooth damaged by severe decay or injury. Your dentist will customize the crown so it allows you to enjoy natural bite function again. Your crown will also be made of high-quality materials.
  • Dental Bridges – If you knocked out a tooth and it’s too late to save it, your dentist can replace it with a dental bridge. This restoration is anchored to nearby teeth for support. This will strengthen your bite and give you strong chewing power. However, feel free to ask about implants. When a bridge is attached to implants instead of other teeth, there’s no need to place crowns on any healthy teeth.
  • Tooth Extractions – Your dentist will only remove a tooth when necessary. However, if it is, you can trust you will feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. After a period of healing, you can return to our office for a replacement tooth.
  • Root Canals – This may sound scary, but a root canal can often save you from an extraction. With their surgical experience, our dentists can handle most root canals in our office. If necessary, we’ll refer you to a specialist.
