Dr. Michelle Stevens Loves Helping Patients Smile

Michelle Stevens, DMD, is a highly accomplished dental professional with a diverse educational background and a deep commitment to excellence in patient care. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Framingham State University, Dr. Stevens embarked on a journey of academic pursuit that would solidify her expertise in the field of dentistry.

Earning a master’s in biomedical science from Tufts University School of Medicine laid the foundation for her rigorous scientific understanding, which she seamlessly integrated into her dental practice. Subsequently, Dr. Stevens achieved her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, a testament to her dedication and passion for oral healthcare

Dr. Stevens further distinguished herself by being selected for the Advanced Periodontal Selective Program, where she learned advanced periodontal techniques at the postgraduate level. This enhanced her skills and knowledge in the specialized area of periodontology.

Dr. Stevens worked tirelessly throughout her academic journey, gaining hands-on experience in all positions within a dental office while attending school. She has earned awards for both academic excellence and her unwavering commitment to community service. Notably, she was honored with the prestigious Matthew Boylan Scholarship Award and was inducted into the esteemed Honus Civicus at Tufts University, which recognizes commitment to civic engagement and community service.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Stevens is deeply passionate about giving back to her community and regularly volunteers her time and expertise to various causes beyond dentistry. She finds fulfillment in making a positive impact on the lives of others and contributing to the betterment of society. Her commitment to public health outside of dentistry includes the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Camp Erin^® Boston, a free children’s bereavement camp.

In her leisure time, Dr. Stevens cherishes moments spent with her loving family, including her children and fiancée. She finds joy in creating lasting memories with them, whether it’s exploring new destinations or simply enjoying outdoor adventures together. An avid traveler and nature enthusiast, Dr. Stevens  especially loves discovering national parks. Whether hiking scenic trails or embarking on thrilling outdoor activities, she finds solace and rejuvenation in nature.
